Lexington, Ky. (April 28, 2017)— NetGain Technologies ranked in the top half of 29 mid-sized companies honored on the 2017 Best Places to Work in Kentucky report. The annual list is a service of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM). The program celebrated 100 winners in 2017. Fewer than five percent of eligible Kentucky businesses received the honor.
During the 13th annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky awards ceremony, nearly 1,300 attendees joined in celebrating Kentucky companies recognized for their commitment to focus, measure, and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
Brendan Jacobson, President of the privately-held managed IT services provider (MSP), recognized NetGain’s 160-member staff for their commitment to being a great place to work. “My brother [CEO Jason Jacobson] and I are humbled, honored, and proud to work with each of our team members,” Brendan Jacobson said. “It is because of them we are graciously recognized as a great place to work. Our goal now is to increase our ranking. In a recent team meeting, Jason and I promised NetGain’s staff we will do everything in our power to become number one.”
The list ranks winners from across the state in three categories: small companies of 15 to149 employees, medium companies of 150 to 499 employees, and large companies consisting of more than 500 employees. (Categories are based on each company’s number of U.S. employees, but only Kentucky employees are surveyed.) The Best Companies Group bases its selection process on an assessment of companies’ employee policies and procedures, along with results from an employee survey.
Jason Jacobson joined several NetGain Technologies representatives at the April 26 awards ceremony. “The Chamber of Commerce and KYSHRM make this event something that we look forward to every year.
