MSPmentor 501 list: NetGain Technologies retains ranking as worldwide top-100 MSP

ain Technologies retained its status as one of the top 100 managed IT services providers (MSP) companies in the world. The list identifies the world’s most progressive 501 managed service providers in 2017. NetGain has ranked in the top 100 MSPs worldwide since the list started in 2013; the company also earned rankings on the industry group’s precursor MSPmentor 100 list from 2009 to 2012.
MSPmentor gathered information for its rankings in an annual survey conducted between February 16 and May 15. To compare MSPs and determine rankings, the industry organization “assesses company strength based on revenue contributions from key go-to-market activities.” MSPmentor bases its rankings on revenue and user statistics through 2016 year-end. MSPmentor released several important industry statistics in association with the rankings.
- Companies represented on MSPmentor’s 501 list amassed a combined $4.30 billion in recurring revenue in 2016, and $14.48 billion in total revenue.
- They reported 41,915 full-time employees in 2016, up nearly 12 percent from 2015’s figure.
- They earned roughly $190,000 per full-time employee.
