I am excited to announce a very important achievement in NetGain Technologies’ compliance standards…
As of February 2014, NetGain Technologies is officially certified in SOC 2 Type II. This is a valuable addition to our SOC 2 Type I certification, which we achieved in June 2013.
This new level of certification assures our clients that we have effective operational controls. A SOC 2 report is designed to certify the security, integrity, availability, confidentiality, and/or privacy of client data. Completion of the examination process indicates that NetGain Technologies’ processes, procedures and controls have been tested and approved by an independent accounting and auditing firm.
Our Type II achievement separates us from many of our competitors. We are pleased to provide this next level of service and sense of safety for our clients.
Additionally, this past month, we held a webinar to educate users of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003, Small Business Server and Office 2003 about the coming “End of Life” for these products. On April 8, 2014, Microsoft will end support of these products and they will therefore be exposed to heightened security risks.
Although NetGain Technologies highly recommends upgrading your systems due the lack of manufacturer support, we will continue to provide service to users still employing these solutions. Should an event occur that requires manufacturing support- our clients may be ‘forced’ to upgrade in order to achieve resolution.
And finally, I would like to share the recent news of The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville naming NetGain Technologies as their official IT provider. We will share details of this advancement in an upcoming press release. But for now, a big “thank you” to the Kentucky Center for their trust!
Thank you,
Mark Jacobson, CEO
