Lexington, Ky. (April 22, 2016)— NetGain Technologies earned seventh ranking among medium companies on the 2016 Best Places to Work in Kentucky report. The annual list is a service of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM). The program set new records this year by celebrating 100 winners for the first time in its history.
During the 12th annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky awards ceremony, presented by the Kentucky Career Center and the State Information Data Exchange System (UI SIDES), nearly 1,300 attendees joined in celebrating Kentucky companies recognized for their commitment to focus, measure, and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
Brendan Jacobson, a partner in the privately-held managed IT services provider (MSP), congratulated the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and KYSHRM on the program’s success. “These organizations have created a useful metric for Kentucky businesses,” Jacobson said. “All year long, I receive comments and inquiries about NetGain’s placement on the list. It’s been a great program for us and for many of our clients. It really puts Kentucky businesses in the spotlight.”
The list ranks winners from across the state in three categories: small companies of 15 to149 employees, medium companies of 150 to 499 employees, and large companies consisting of more than 500 employees. (Categories are based on each company’s number of U.S. employees, but only Kentucky employees are surveyed.) The Best Companies Group bases its selection process on an assessment of companies’ employee policies and procedures, along with results from an employee survey.
Rob Wildman, Executive Vice President—Operations, received the award on behalf of NetGain Technologies at the April 20 ceremony. “Last year, we achieved a top-10 finish in the small companies category,” Wildman recalled. “We’re honored to place seventh in the medium category in our second year as a ‘best place to work.’ With seven offices and more than 150 employees, NetGain Technologies has a large enough presence and sufficient expertise to provide support to any company in our region, but we’re also small enough to provide personal attention and a local feel.”
